The Value/Potential of Ketamine Assisted Therapy
The course offers a unique counseling perspective on Ketamine-based Therapy growing in popularity within both the psychiatric and therapeutic community. The course provides an overview of the mechanism of action of the medication and more deeply explores implications for transformational counseling work termed Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) that can be an invaluable part of treatment. Introducing an innovative counseling intervention approach termed Common Ketamine Progression Narrative (C-KPN) for which a completed book manuscript has been completed, the training explores psychological variables that can be impacted through Ketamine Treatment and supported by accompanying therapy.
